Chapter 02. The load
You point.
We carry.
Out of the basement, down the stairs, off the second floor, behind the shed, along the fence line. Nothing goes to the curb first and nothing gets dragged across your floors.
Chapter 03. The sweep
Then we sweep up.
The load goes to licensed disposal, metal, appliances, clean wood, cardboard and yard waste pulled out for recycling. Good furniture gets donated where we can. The driveway gets swept before we leave.
Chapter 04. Gone
Space you forgot
you owned.
The garage you can park in. The basement you can walk through. The corner of the yard that has been someone else's problem for three years.
What we take
Nearly everything
that isn't hazardous.
Riverside has been hauling junk and debris out of properties around King of Prussia for over a decade, one couch or an entire estate, a single trip or a week of them. If you are not sure whether something qualifies, call 610-800-2289 and we will just tell you.

What we can't take
Hazardous material is regulated and has to go through a household hazardous waste program instead: wet paint, solvents, motor oil and fuel, asbestos, pesticides and fertilisers in liquid form, propane tanks, ammunition, and medical or biohazard waste. Call us anyway, we know where the local drop-offs are and we would rather point you in the right direction than leave you guessing.

We come out.
You get a number.
Most people want to know what they're in for before anything moves. So we come to you, walk it with you, and tell you what we can take and when we can get there. Estimates are free, they happen in person, and there is no obligation at the end of one.
- 01
Call, text or send the form
Tell us roughly what needs to go and where you are. We set up a time to come out, usually within a day or two.
- 02
We walk it with you
Room by room if it's a cleanout. You mark what stays, what goes, and what you want set aside to look through.
- 03
We do the carrying
Out of basements, down stairs, off second floors, out of sheds. Floors and door frames get protected on the way through.
- 04
Loaded, hauled, swept
The truck takes it to licensed disposal and recycling, and the space is left broom clean.
Before we come
Things worth
knowing.
None of this changes what we charge you. It is just the stuff that decides whether a job takes two hours or most of a day, and you would rather hear it now than on the driveway.
What helps us most
- A rough idea of what is going. We will see the rest ourselves when we come out.
- Where it sits. A garage is a very different job from a third floor attic, even when the pile is the same size.
- Whether there is anything heavy in there: concrete, brick, tile, appliances, a piano.
- Your deadline, if you have one. Estate work and rental turnovers usually do.
- Parking. If the truck cannot get near the door, the carry gets longer and we would rather plan for it.
What a hauler would tell you
- Old paint tins in the basement are the usual hold up. They need a county hazardous waste drop off, and we will point you to the nearest one.
- Mattresses are banned from landfill at a lot of transfer stations around here, so they get routed separately.
- Estate work goes much faster when somebody who knew the house is there for the first pass. One person answering keep or go saves hours.
- Metal, wood, cardboard and yard waste get pulled out for recycling, and furniture that is still good gets offered for donation before anything is landfilled.
- If a shed or a deck is coming out, tell us up front. Tear-outs need different tools than a pickup.

Junk removal questions
Straight answers.
How do I find out what my job involves?
Call or text 610-800-2289 and we will come out and look at it for free. We usually get there within a day or two, and we can usually tell you the same day what we can take and when we can get there. Estimates are free and there is no obligation.
Do you remove a single item, like one mattress or one couch?
Yes. Single item pickups are routine: a mattress, a couch, a fridge, a treadmill, a hot tub. Call and tell us what it is and we will let you know when we can get there.
Do I need to carry anything out to the curb?
No. Our crew carries everything out. Basements, attics, second floors, sheds, back yards and behind fence lines are all normal for us. You point, we lift.
What can you not take?
Hazardous material: wet paint, solvents, motor oil, fuel, asbestos, pesticides, propane tanks, ammunition and medical waste. Call us and we will tell you where those go locally. Everything else, from a single box to a full estate, we can take.
Where does the junk actually go?
To licensed disposal, with metal, appliances, clean wood, cardboard and yard waste separated for recycling wherever the transfer station accepts it. Usable furniture in good condition can often be donated rather than landfilled.
Do you handle estate cleanouts and rental turnovers?
Yes, and they are some of our most common jobs. We work with families settling an estate, landlords turning over a unit between tenants, realtors preparing a listing, and property managers who need the whole place emptied on a deadline.
Can you take construction and renovation debris?
Yes: drywall, lumber, old cabinets, flooring, roofing, decking, fencing and demolition debris. Tell us if there is concrete, brick or tile in there when you call, because that changes the truck and the equipment we bring.
Which towns do you cover for junk removal?
King of Prussia, Wayne, Radnor, Villanova, Bryn Mawr, Haverford, Ardmore, Narberth, Bala Cynwyd, Gladwyne, Devon, Berwyn, Paoli, Malvern, Chesterbrook, Exton, West Chester, Phoenixville, Collegeville, Audubon, Oaks, Norristown, Eagleville, Plymouth Meeting, Conshohocken, Lafayette Hill, Blue Bell, Ambler, Fort Washington, Lansdale, Skippack, Limerick, Royersford, Newtown Square, Broomall, Havertown, Drexel Hill, Springfield, Media, Swarthmore, Glenside, Jenkintown, Manayunk, Roxborough and Chestnut Hill.
